7. Gentlemen: It is with great pleasure that I write to commend Chris Biank and all of you at Millennium Volkswagen. 
Having recently remodled our kitchen, my wife, Leslie, and I have dealt with far too many sales people over the past year and 
a half, and I had despaired of finding anyone who could bring efficiency, professionalism and honor to the profession. 
Chris reshaped my view. Last Saturday I visited your showroom needing to buy a relatively inexpensive car...fast. 
Chris listened when I said I was buying a car that day and suggested a 2000 Jetta GLS. Nice. 
He asked me to drive the car, since I hadn't even had the pleasure. When I came back, I knew that if we could make the numbers fit, 
I wanted the shiny white Jetta. Chris was efficient and professional throughout the negotiating process 
(all of about 11 minutes worth) and he got me to cave in and pay a bit more than I had planned...but, at least so far, 
it's been worth it. Chris ensured that the car was prepared for pickup first thing Monday morning, as promised. 
Leslie dropped me off and wanted to see the new car before she drove off. Chris escorted us out to the detail 
shop where a small army was buzzing around the car with steam hoses, scrub brushes and a vacuum cleaner that 
sounded as if it could get back that quarter I dropped down a storm drain on my street a week ago. 
Leslie commented that she was impressed to see one of the guys scrubbing on the back seat with a toothbrush. Knowing I had to get to work, 
Chris blitzed through the remaining paperwork and offered to have me pick up a second key later on. 
He efficiently introduced me to the service area as we were going out to the car. He rode with me to get my complementry tank of 
gas and gave me a quick rundown on the buttons, levers and dials I needed to know about. I offered to drive him back, 
but he said he'd walk. It was a nice day. Earlier that Saturday I had visited another VW dealership 
and I left frustrated and annoyed at the cavalier way I was treated. They definately did not need my business, 
and made that all too clear. At Millennium, the salespeople have VW models and toy Matchbox Volkswagens 
on the shelves behind their desks. That might not seem like much, but it sends the message that 
they are doing what they're doing because they want to. I believe that attitude...and what was clearly superb training...
makes a difference for customers. It did for me.Thanks Chris. It was fun.
